But in all seriousness, i hope elitists keep posting for 4600+ or whatever requirement they want. It lets me know who not to play with, because 9/10 times those elitists are arrogant scrubs. (And yes, i meet the requirements).(and that conclusion has been made through personal experience, and interestingly it has not changed since the beta [yes, elitist crucible teams were a thing back then, the pve elitists started in launch week, well before the vault of glass was released.])
Not being an elitist, thats the first thing I always say to the fire team. "Sorry if I come off as an elitist, I just want to get this done fast". I tell them its way better then a light level requirement, I don't like people asking for light level and demanding you to use a certain weapon. I know how to play my characters and everyone should know how to play theirs. I should not tell a person what to use. Do you think people who ask for 315+ or 318+ light level are elitist? Because the raid can easily be done by a 310. Anywhoo I do like your respond, you read my original post and gave actual feedback and your opinion.
I didn't mean you as an elitist honestly. Your text dialect is different, and I have run into enough elitists to know if someone is asking for a requirement, or being an elitist. Unfortunately they are very similar, but there are a few differences. You apologizing for sounding as such proves your asking for a requirement. As far as light levels go, it depends on the extent. Asking for people to be 290+ for the raid is more so reasonable, same for 300 for hard. However I think anything more than that is starting to become elitist, but not necessarily if no one knows how and what to do, while 310+ is elitist, simply because they weren't past the highest light level when hard mode came out, and asking for one to be as such while the player themselves weren't is hypocorism. A grimore requirement is better than a gear requirement for both sides of the argument, since a very experienced player may not play enough to be 310+, and that a 310+ isnt always as skilled as they should be. I personally never ask for a specific level to be met, but instead ask that they are nice and willing to cooperate with others. Most of my raids (+ Skolas) have gone smoothly with this, and despite some players not being skilled or having good enough equipment to do a certain task, they have been able to coordinate with others, and together we have overcome it without much difficulty fairly fast, simply because the others knew of a downside, and could plan or act accordingly.
