[b]shepard falls to his knees and claws away at his face, his and johns eyes drop, to be completely black with a deep orange dot as a pupil. They smile literally ear to ear as they lung toward Tara, waking her from some kind of trance[/b]
"WAKE. UP! WAKE UP! HES TRYING TO CONFUSE YOU MAN!"

She jerks into focus and puts a strong barrier up. "What the actual heck is going on!?"

"Tara, calm down, it was a hallucination, probably from dimension hopping or whatever... I need to get you back to the oddessey..."

She shudders and nods before mumbling. "He didn't mention that."

She grasps his hand and follows.

"C-C-come on... The e-EXFILL isn't ffffffar...." [b]that same little voice echoes through his mind [/b] [i]"what has she done for you? Eat her, your starving and this just fresh meat waiting to be taken."[/i]

Tara silently follows.

[b]he shambles through the alleyways, the strange voice in his mind simply finds no end[/b] "[i]NOW! NOW! She's vulnerable, she trusts you... What's a pity. Look at her standing there, like a poor little doe staring down the barrel of hunger that is you."[/i] [b]he hears a distant gunshot from the slums, and takes that as an excuse to book it down the freeway toward a dropship, throwing Tara over his shoulder to hopefully get them both there at the same time[/b]

She jumps into the ship and helps him in.

She smiles weakly and sits near the door.

[b]the voice continues to ramble in his head while he contimplates how to kill himself to get to finally be silenced[/b]

She lays a hand on his shoulder as the ship takes off. "I'll be fine."

[i]"NOW! Imagine the heartbreak! Imagine the sadness in her eyes as you devour her very being! Heartbroken always tastes better than fulfilled, Wheatley... Now is your chance."[/i] [b]he turns around quickly at her motion. He is twitching and ticking as well as staring down the look of emotional instability he always saw in her eyes.[/b] "Sorry w-what?"

She looks into his eyes. "It lies Wheatley. I know."

[b]his eyes widen as he realizes what she's talking about[/b] "Oh uh... C-can you hear him?"

Seeming to ignore his question she says "he lies" once again before smiling and looking out a window.

[b]wheatley screams in apparent pain, looking around the ship for the source [/b] [i]"and what can you do to stop me? You make a move, your friend here dies..."[/i]

She says nothing but hugs him tightly.

"[i]look at him. He's weak, he can't even attack the woman who trusts him with her life. Pathetic[/i]" [b]wheatley stops breathing.[/b]

[i]That takes more strength than you know.[/i] She appears next to the source of the voice and punches him in the nose.
