Chief comes to kill Guardians
Oryx be like, "strong guy, I'm gonna take that"
Chief becomes Taken, Oryx sends him to kill Guardians
Guardians get rekt
Oryx still controls Chief
Oryx kills off Chief
Oryx wins
English
-
Oryx can only take beings with Darkness in them. As far as we know, the Spartans or the Covenant do not have any darkness.
-
No he can take any beings expect for one's with the light
-
The whole dark and light thing is hard to argue about since its not even present or talked about in halo. It's not a good point to argue all the time since it may have a faulty stand point.
-
It could but the fact that he can take other beings and bend then to his will doesn't change
Chief comes to kill Guardians Oryx be like, "strong guy, I'm gonna take that" Chief becomes Taken, Oryx sends him to kill Guardians Guardians get rekt Oryx still controls Chief Oryx kills off Chief Oryx wins
Precursors make oryx look like a child playing god.
-
Oryx is then crushed by the precursors/forerunners/flood.
-
Expect for the minor detail that Oryx can only be damaged by those filled with light. None of those beings mentioned have light in them
-
Reality warping. Also that statement is a no limits fallacy.
-
Reality warping? Again how does this having anything to do with the Light?
-
If you can bend reality, then what is and is not possible becomes irrelevant. Once again that statement is a no limits fallacy, and not valid.
-
What about the argument of light makes it illogical or a fallacy as you put it? It is an ethereal substance that powers and supports beings blessed with it by the traveler
-
Light has primarily negated other light and dark abilities, allowing us to fight people like Oryx. The abilities it grants the guardians however has never shown to be that great. Certainly not on the level of changing the laws of physics.
