Col volkov sat in the ship's galley, sipping vodka. He'd talked with a few of the crew, mostly he stayed with members of the federal army. He'd talked with the Geth a few times, it was enlightening. The synthetic life form would have fit in with the Russians, hard worker, collective minded, and intelligent. The Geth often spoke of his people, and the quarians. Volkov knew that there were at least a few onboard now, he wondered if the one captain he'd meet was here.

Cephalon walks in, his hulking size making him stand out, as does his robotic body.
-
The Russian watches for a moment.
-
His body is completely black, with the mechanical parts being red, as is the glass on the mask. He carries a huge rifle with the same colour scheme. He sees you looking. "Ah! Another member."
-
"Yes. What can I do for you?"
-
"I saw you looking. Not used to seeing an 11ft tall robot?" He says jokingly
-
"No, I've seen weirder, trust me. You just cause a scene when you enter and I was doing a threat assessment."
-
"Seems to make sense. So, you got a name?"
-
"Col Pavel volkov, federation army."
-
"Names Cephalon. Merc for hire."
-
"Merc huh? A lot of you guys here."
-
"Well, that makes sense. A lot to the time mercs are called In because we'll do almost anything for money."
-
"True, not as morally sound as us regular soldiers. No offense but I've seen you mercs operate enough to know it."
-
He laughs. "No, no that sounds about right. Hey, we don't have to wear a uniform." He says. "Soooo much easier to fight in jogging pants then military getup."
-
"You think so? These are designed to fight in and be durable. It's like a second skin really, if it fits you are proud to put it on each day. Plus the women love uniforms."
-
"Yeah, but I've always found regular clothing was better."
-
"That means you just never had the calling."
-
"Well, sometimes I'm glad if didn't."
-
He shrugs. "At any rate we're all in the same boat now."
-
"Yeah. Hey, you cover my back and I'll cover yours. Rule Akkar and I always followed."
-
"It's a good rule."
-
"Yeah."
