"So do many war criminals. To the courts they all meet the same fate."

"I always find my way out, hopefully your blindness will be relieved and you shall receive the truth... I killed the Feds, I did what I had to do... My actions are just
-
"No, mine are. You just admit to me you killed Feds, and I am an officer in the federation army. You just keep digging your own grave. It's very tempting to kill you now. But seeing as law and order are principles of the federation I will not stoop to your level. I will make it impossible for you to escape." He pulls out his knife and kicked him to the floor.

Edited by Cosmic: 2/21/2016 3:39:51 AM"Think of the atrocities your men commit. None of them are more just than I. Slaughtering men, women, children, innocent cities or innocent people wiped off of the face of the universe, and for what? A simple man should not concern you, as you burn and pillage many different planets, I find the exchange unbalanced." he prepares to block any incoming blow
-
"My men, committed no such atrocities. Those things you seem to think the federation did all the time happened only happened twice and anyone involved was executed. We don't tolerate crimes nor do we commit them." The man finds that he was bound when they captured him. He pulls out a syringe while putting his knife away.
-
"lies... Another strongpoint of your kind, yes? The ability to commit such heinous crimes and sweep it under the rug like your shirt was never rinkled... Yet your eyes still display the remorse... The fear." the wounded man raises his head to meet eyes with his executioner "Of all the people to kill me, a lying Amoral coward who hides behind his statistical losses was obviously be the one who brings about my poetic end... Fitting, isn't it? After all those years... All those nights spent up in fear of losing my lover to you the heartless grasp of your iron fist. How does it feel, oh bearer of lies and harbinger of darkness, how does it feel to be coated in the blood of children, of the already hopeless?"
-
"Let's be clear. Never insult my honor, or I will kill you. Second, I don't care what you think, along as I tell you the truth I'll sleep like a baby. Third, don't pretend that your the only one to lose people. That damn war cost me my fiancé, my parents and my little brother, all because someone thought they could do a better job of keeping people in line. So think on that will you?" He jams the needle in the man's leg and pushes the plunger down. The captive loses all ability to move, see, or speak. He is alive however.

The Russian was used to that look, and didn't care. This man would be killed, if found guilty of war crimes. He was hooked up to a constant drip, the chemicals changed every twelve hours, all had the same effect. Guards were posted and a lawyer was retained for the man, criminal though he was he was still entitled to legal defense. The current Chems only prevented him from moving, he could now speak and see.
-
"MY SPECIES DIES CONTENT ON KNOWING A CHILDS BLOOD ISNT SPLATTERED ON MY HANDS, CAN YOU SAY THE SAME?!"
-
The lawyer look at the man. "Yes, if we all suffered because of crimes people committed no one would be alive. Now, there's documented proof of your crimes. I might be able to plead an insanity charge."
-
"YOUR PHRASES ARE SLOW AND HEAVY WITH LIES... YOUR WORDS MUST TASTE LIKE POISON..." he breathes incredibly heavily as streams of blood fall from one of his eyes
-
"If you don't want legal counsel then don't take it. Either way you'll stand trial."
-
"I'll except your assistance... Yet I request you tell nothing but the truth, if I am to be executed may the executioner be coated in the blood of a humble Shepard..."
-
"And if I'm to represent you, you need to stop with the self righteousness. The ends do not justify the means. You killed my countrymen, never forget that."
-
"I will never forget what I've done, defender of the incapable, protector of the cutthroat. Those vivid images in my mind of the atrocities I had to commit will plague my very soul until the day I am killed... Yet I can sleep soundly at night knowing I did it to defend those who couldn't do so themselves, I can guarantee you those Federals cannot say the same, not the sane ones, not those in their own mind."
-
"Ah but we do. You see I'm a military lawyer. We sleep just fine because we killed the war criminals in our ranks."
-
"Victors justice, my friend. War crimes as petty as mine are easily overlooked by the Federals, they are the victors, therefore they judge the guilt of each war criminal. I would hope you would know these principles, otherwise I'd fend better in my own defense. If I was a fed, I would be no less guilty than you friend, but due to my standing at the end of the war... You can foreshadow my gate in your own Light."
-
"You don't get it do you? Anyone, fed, reb, or third party, I mean anyone who committed a war crime is being found guilty. There is no victors justice, not this time."
-
"Your so narrow minded. people only care for themselves. Those Feds will do anything, and I mean ANYTHING to save as many of their troops as possible and convict as many of ours, it's just simple human nature. It's another war friend, a social war, a war of the mind and of civil policy... There is no avoiding it, and I can guarantee your working to flip the switch on me as well."
-
"People only care for themselves? That's kinda funny, I've heard a lot about men and women who sacrifice themselves to save others. The soldiers, the police officers, the firemen, the Good Samaritans. I'm not the blind one, you're just bitter. You know, if you weren't such a self righteous prick, I'd pity you."
-
Edited by Cosmic: 2/21/2016 6:30:32 AM"I don't seek the pity of a man who defends the liars and allows murderers to roam the streets." he attempts to shake free around the time the Chems are at there weakest
-
The guard busts him in the face with his rifle. Then he breaks one of the man's legs. "Quit trying to escape."
-
"Whatever..."
-
The lawyer shakes his head. "The guards have orders to kill you if you try to escape, so I wouldn't."
-
"I wouldn't count on those guards. Their necks snap easier than a bullet flies... Based on past experience."
