So what's going on with re-forging?
It's literally the only feature that's keeping me from re-playing this game. Will it ever be added to all weapons and armors? I see you can do it to exotics and its in the Destiny tracker website meaning there is code for it. It's been there for quite some time now. When will it actually be a main feature. I have so much armor I want to re-forge and I earned. If Transmogrification won't be a feature, re-forging is the next best thing. Also, what's going on with the rest of the exotic weapons and armors? Will they ever see the light of day? Again, we know they're done Bungie so just release them already. This $40 DLC has about as much content as 'The dark below' does and that DLC was more then half the price. I know you guys said there would be "free content updates" over the year but there really hasn't been much. Nothing really to make players want to replay this game.

1 ReplyThey tried reforging. The community didn't like everyone on an even playing field in the crucible.

1 ReplyWeapon reforging is a sticky situation no matter how you look at it. It would both increase and decrease weapon variety. People would use exotics like TLW and Mida less because they could get weapons like Hacksaw with perfect rolls. However on the flip side you would eventually see only a few weapon types with the exact same "God rolls" everywhere. I for one would love to reforge weapons, but I would limit it to 1 reforge per weapon.

3 RepliesHonestly they need to add it back, you still had to get the gun to reroll it, plus anyone could reroll so it made the playing field equal

3 RepliesReforging ruined HoW for a large number of people being that you could get a god roll on literally any weapon very easily. It made it not very fun with everyone running around with the same thing. The random element of loot drops is what makes it fun for most.
