Simple, increase glimmer to 50,000 then go to speaker with that amount and purchase Silver
I would say 100 Silver for 50,000g, seems fair and hard to earn

Edited by Automatic2209: 2/23/2016 4:26:50 PMI think 50 silver for doing nightfall. This makes it actually worth doing, but doesn't make buying silver obsolete. Silver for glimmer wouldn't be smart business for them.

Glimmer is easy to farm now that we have the crucible ghost.
-
So how does Bungie/Activision make any money with your plan?
-
100,000 glimmer for 100 silver so you have to spend a considerate period of time to get it and they would make money cause nobody got time that.
-
It's about the transactions. The budget could be used for a lot of different things related to the development team.

Hello WillUR Bodacious, Glad to see you're using the Bungie.net community to leave us feedback! We've created the #Feedback section for exactly this purpose. I'm gonna move your thread over there where you're more likely to get seen by the team. Good hunting, Guardian!

Bungie will not let anyone earn silver. PvP and the Microtansactions the only thing holding this game.
-
EDIT: Money would still be made by people who don't want to grind the glimmer, they can take the shortcut which is with money. I posted this because Destiny needs to do microtransactions correctly, if there is an alternative, then they have done it correctly, if its solely money, then there is controversy. The cheapest emote that can be purchased is worth 200 Silver, that is a lot of glimmer to be gathered.
