Wanna get Warlocks pissed? Point out some facts
Warlocks have:
The best Grenade(s)
The Best Class weapon
A mini-super within their super as a "subclass node"
Get to take away their death
The best melee(s)
The Best armor thanks to an Exotic. They have more armor than the "tanky class"
But hey...... Balance

For all Keyboard warriors that need ammo against me -> I deleted my previous Warlock due to a lost Bet with friends.
My playtime is also the biggest with that Warlock.

10 RepliesSeriously, what's the problem? Why are all warlocks bad. I pretty much exclusively use voidwalker and sometimes use storm caller. What's so op about voidwalker? Axiom grenades? Doesn't the badedancer's skip grenades perform the exact same, but even more aggressive and faster tracking? And axiom will only weaken you. Skips can kill you, no matter how much armor. Yet axiom is the superior grenade. If you nerf axiom (which is completely fine, and has been for the past year and 5 months); you'll only make yourself the target What about storm caller? Oh transcendence? You have to perk for this, and leading to your super; you can never use your grenades or melees. And the super is very easily countered so long as you keep your distance and try not to be a buck shot warrior or something to that effect. They can even be killed with mid impact fusion rifles Sunsinger? Nothing has changed for this class. It's been the same for the entire game. You know, excluding that nerf to their firebolt. Do I like using sunsinger? No, it's boring. Do I like going against them? Not without a back up nova bomb. They are annoying yes, but nothing has changed about them. So stop saying all warlocks need to be punished for one subclass. I can't self rez, gain a flame shield on melee, burn everything. But I still play warlock, and I'm gonna be punished for that?! [b][u]IT'S NOT BECAUSE SOMETHING IS OP. IT'S BECAUSE ANYTIME ANYTHING IN THIS GAME HAS COMPETITION, A WHINER WILL PLEAD FOR NERF! THIS IN TURN MAKES IT SO THAT THE THING THAT SEEMS OP, ACTUALLY ISN'T. NOTHING CAN CONTEND WITH IT BECAUSE EVERYTHING ELSE WAS NERFED[/u][/b] a good example is what's going on with mida. It is [b][u]FAR[/u][/b] from op, and there are many weapons that can contend with it if you are familiar and like using this weapon. However, no one cares. Everything else was nerfed, so mida must see the same fate. Which isn't true. Red death, bad juju, autos in general, hand cannons in general (cause when's the last time you were killed by one, and it wasn't tlw), and especially hawkmoon, and etc need to be buffed to give real competition. If not, we'll simply go in a cycle of nerf till nothing can be used The same goes for classes

You make sound like we can have all of these at once. If that were the case I'd agree with you (I'm a warlock main ) but we're not as OP as you think. Depending on Specific situations we may have the favorable win but that's not all. in PvE were not that useful. Most would favor a hunter or Titan in a raid rendering us almost useless. We warlocks are pretty balanced

1 ReplyThere's no denying Warlocks are OP. Way too much armor, melee range, an overshield, and tracking grenades all supercharged by a self revive. Sorry but you don't get to have a free life and all those things. Take the free life with no extra armor or shields, or no free life.

True...Maybe, if you exempt blink strike and shoulder charge (seeing as we don't have secondary skills like that) Best Grenades! Except for lightning grenades, trip mines, skip grenades, and suppressor grenades....wait....
