If it wasn't balanced, we'd see Warlocks topping the global KD ladder, or something to that effect.

I run stormcaller but mainly voidwalker and go flawless in addition to my striker titan.

Actually I think Bladedancers were still the #1 Trials class last time I checked. Sunsingers were #2.

What? No. The best of the best might have their preferences, but they'll only account for a tiny margin of stats overall.

Oh, sorry I was confused. And yes I agree, however that tiny margin of people account for a lot more kills and a lot less deaths than you think. I'm talking about the people who go 30 and 5 every single match.
