If you take exotic primaries out of the current meta, things get a little more interesting variety-wise. While there are certainly some legendary weapons that have lower theoretical time-to-kills than others, the differences are relatively small compared to those between "top-of-meta" exotics and everything else. In addition, legendary weapons inherently have more variety, due to the greater variability of their perk rolls.
For this reason, I think that if you asked everyone to list their favorite legendary weapons from each primary weapon class, you won't get ~500 people listing the same four weapons. To test that theory, I ask that you list your favorite (with regards to PvP) Legendary [Year 2] Primary weapons from each weapon class.
