Look guys getting to Rank 5 is not that difficult, when I play IB I get all characters to Rank 5. Don't grind continuously on one character. Pick up the daily and weekly bounties. Each day complete the daily bounties on each character and turn them in, you will also be making progress on the weeklies. Once the dailies are completed on a character, switch characters. Be sure to turn in the dailies each day, on each character so they are available the next day. The daily bounties should be enough to get you to Rank 3. Then just get the weekly bounties completed and you are done, BUT DO NOT TURN IN THE WEEKLY BOUNTY UNTIL SUNDAY OR MONDAY on those days the buff will be enough to move you the last two ranks.
