Kinda ranted a bit there in the vid, bit of profanity... its 3am in Australia and that pissed me off... what a boring -blam!-ing match and NZ Tui didnt deserve to be killed 50x over just for a medallion and a chance at loot... i hope he got a hidden hand/ shortgaze/ snapshot sniper for enduring that bullshit.
Bump this and give it a thumbs up if you agree, lets get this shit fixed. A 6v2 or even 6v3 should never occur, either fill the game or end it.
No one enjoys this...

THIS HAPPENED TO ME IN THE RECENT IRON BANNER! Having the same idiots kill you and emote is annoying, especially when the original team was 4v5 that turned into 3v5 with no one joining for the entire time limit

We went 6v1 against some poor sap. We actually didn't rack the score up, he ran well. I agree though, the mercy rule needs brought in at some point.

I'll pass your suggestions to the Crucible team. It would be nice to go ahead and end matches early if one team has a lot of quitters. I would also like to propose more ideas on how to discourage quitting from matches. Feel free to share your thoughts.

I was 6vs1 playing a team after all the solo players quit. Iron banner should be a split game play. Fire team and a solo list, or no more then 3 fire team.

I don't mind joining a match in progress. All it means is your going to get the end reward faster and that's why we are playing in the first place... besides getting rep, which when you lose you get a token to redeem anyway

Upon spawning in I immediately held my ghost out to return to orbit, whilst directly opposite some arsewipe was trying to kill me, because he was camped in spawn trying to kill anyone that dared enter the match. Its moments like this you have to ask yourself why..just why..

The consensus seems to be reward for staying in a match even if the match is lopsided. A 25% points reward would help per losing game and remove medallions. But I can see that you'd want to get players to play the game for as long as possible so and this idea may mean that players rank up quicker than normal. So.. Add a 6th level. Players who complete the 6th level will guarantee a max light level exotic item. Not 310 but 320. BUT to max out at 6th a new bounty opens up with Lord Saladin once max 5 is reached. The new bounty opens up a new iron banner mode - 3v3 random only no fireteam with inferno and mayhem. The bounty is to win 3 matches and get 15 headshots.

Spawn killing is well, shit happens. I try to laugh it off. Except on vertigo the other day it spawned me quite literally in front of a sunbreaker. Hurt my soul

How about a 3 of coins style loot buff which stacks 5 times but resets after a drop or a quit. Not necessarily an exotic though

Yesterday was really bad around 11 AM EST USA, I played 6-7 games and all but one launched with 4v4 or 5v5. The sad part about it only one of those added players to fill the teams. The rest just continued with reduced fireteams. Either matchmaking isn't working, OR, can't believe I'm gunna say this, nobody is playing...

It's commonplace in Iron Lagger, particularly Dreadnaught Dungeon map, to spawn camp and control. Otherwise I totally agree that the Mercy Rule is bullcrap right now. Not only should it be based on 'numbers'(as Bungie puts it) but also how many players are contributing to that number score. I admire those two in the video for staying around for one lousy medallion, but to go through THAT much torture for close to no compensation?! Yeah some foresight on Bungie's part could go a long way.

The spawns in IB are so [b]f[/b]ucked up in general. The map 'the dungeons' are the worst for it. The other day, there was 2 guys who would just stand in our spawn and kill us as soon as we revived. They just kept flipping sides. It was so annoying.
