Hey Destiny community! It's your friendly neighborhood Roman here.
Now, I know there are more than a few of you running around with the Suros ARN-33 auto rifle. If you were lucky enough to get a stability perk, I'm sure you're a big fan of the weapon. It shreds in the Crucible, but because it's a rare, it's useless in Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris.
If you're finding that 7th Trials win elusive and still don't have the Doctrine of Passing, but are looking for a legendary auto rifle to compete, I've got good news!
Banshee is selling the Arminius-D in The Tower. For 2500 glimmer you can dish out all the auto rifle carnage you want. You'll have to wait until next week to actually get the gun of course, but it's well worth the wait.

Briar Rabbit did a good review of this weapon refuting the actual stats. Seeing the guns shoot side by side in his video showed they are definitely farther apart than the stats would lead you to believe.
-
Thats no fusion rifle.

Arminius is nice. I hope it comes up again because I will buy another one to see if I can land Braced Frame with Counterbalance.
-
I got one from the gunsmith with crowd control, spray and play and braced frame.
-
Yup, I bought a second one just because I can
-
I have so many variations, but my dream combo will be counter balance and high caliber.
-
You can't remove someone else post. Everyone has been on the forums long enough to know that.
-
Arminius also has a significantly larger aim assist value, making head shots easier to consistently land. I don't remember exactly but I think it was something along the lines of Doctrine: ~50 AA Arminius: ~65-70 AA

Edited by Sixclicks: 3/4/2016 3:32:39 PMIve been using my old Unwilling Soul instead. It has Hip Fire, Hand-Laid Stock, and Counterbalance. It's reforgable too. I still haven't pulled DoP. And the Arminus-D rolls were lackluster without counterbalance. It makes a huge difference. The Unwilling Soul is equipped on my Warlock. I might roll of that hipfire though.

Was playing crucible this week and all of a sudden this thing was everywhere. I was literally losing my mind wondering what the deal was with this thing. Now I know. Just wish I bought one. Will it be sold again?
-
I have that weapon with Crowd Control, Spray and Play and Braced Frame..light 291...i haven't used it yet in PvP....have you?? How is it??
-
My Warlock's Arminius is somewhat decent
-
I'm saving my package for hopefully more stability perks
-
The one on my Titan is the best roll you gonna get. :)

This post is now about hot pockets. Mine is quad cheese
-
check out mine ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
I'm curious, you can remove someone's posts? How. And I have the Trials version, am looking forward to this one also.
-
Arminius has the better aim assist if that's your thing
-
A Gunsmith roll came in with Braced Frame, Spray and Play, and Crowd Control. Worth it or wait it?
-
The data base stats of the armanius are wrong. Even the round count for the mag is wrong on the data base.
-
A Roman shilling for Arminius... oh, the historical references... Arminius-D with a Braced Frame and Counterbalance is like a laser, a badass laser made out of bullets.
-
Just wanted to remind everyone to hold onto your orders tomorrow if he doesn't bring the roll u want. He will have new rolls available every armsday until you cash it in.
-
Is it possible to roll Arminius with Counterbalance, Braced Frame, and Persistence?
