Arminius-D
Hey Destiny community! It's your friendly neighborhood Roman here.
Now, I know there are more than a few of you running around with the Suros ARN-33 auto rifle. If you were lucky enough to get a stability perk, I'm sure you're a big fan of the weapon. It shreds in the Crucible, but because it's a rare, it's useless in Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris.
If you're finding that 7th Trials win elusive and still don't have the Doctrine of Passing, but are looking for a legendary auto rifle to compete, I've got good news!
Banshee is selling the Arminius-D in The Tower. For 2500 glimmer you can dish out all the auto rifle carnage you want. You'll have to wait until next week to actually get the gun of course, but it's well worth the wait.

2 RepliesI think my K/D rise has a lot to do with my Arminius-D. I have hated bullet hoses in the past so I have stayed away from them until now. In a CQC environment, I win against almost anything most of the time. Sure TLW can get me but not much else can. The only thing I do not like about the gun is the muzzle flash. It obscures my targets a lot so I have to aim by feel in certain engagements. I just have to stop trying to out gun a Hawksaw at longer ranges.

I picked up an arminus to compare and similar stats or not doctrine will still be better and not many ppl will use that gun regardless

Bought 3. Going to grab the first one i can find with stability perks then save the other two for god rolls. I don't play trials so this is the only way for me to get a poor man doctrine of passing. Kind of like the hopscotch pilgrim to messenger from year one. Except no grinding strikes this time around. Yay
