So, here is my idea of a fun crucible mode. It would be called restriction.
Firstly, the main restriction is on weapons: no using secondaries or heavies. Primary only.
Then, each match adds ONE random extra restriction, among these could be: No exotics (if someone has only exotics, it automatically gives them a white auto rifle for the match), no jumping, no grenades or melee, no supers, no sliding, weight of darkness, and more!
The game mode it is based around would be either rumble or clash. Skirmish would also work. This will allow people to focus on killing and not need to focus on any objectives.
This whole time, I've run simulations in my head (14 at this point) about various scenarios, and couldn't think of any way to improve, but if anyone has any ideas, feel free to give me input!!!

Also, as a modifier: Ro Sham Bo- Arc damage deals increased damage to void subclasses, while solar deals less. Solar damage deals increased damage to arc subclasses, while void deals less. Void damage deals increased damage to solar subclasses, while arc deals less.

That might be too complicated. I wish they'd add a gun game style mode where you start off with a sidearm get a kill then you get a sniper, get kill then shotty then primary then heavy and so on.

I think it could be interresting to make a game mode that have modifiers, like the Nightfall. And each match would have different modifier applied. So you could be in a game with Airborne modifier active, then another match where radar are offline, etc.

Can't say for sure but this would probably stop working similar to how combined arms did. People would flock to the best primaries at given ranges ex: MIDA and LW, then everyone would get sick of getting killed by them and the matches would take too long and people would leave.

Next thing you know you're fighting with or Against your enemy. How great would it be to run into the enemy control point with a herd of thrall behind you?

This sounds cool. A gamemode I'd like to see would be swords only, but you can't bring your own - everyone gets a white sword at the start of the match, and it has unlimited ammo. It's called Fencing and is 6v6.

I'm voting no. Limiting to primary only might be alright, but then to add restrictions on top of that? You're really limited to what you can do which I guess is the point but I don't think it would be any fun
