Every time I try to play Iron Banner with a specific friend from the U.K. it wont let us get to the lobby before kicking one of us (usually me) out to orbit. Tons of different errors code names given.
We can play Nightfalls, weekly heroics, as well as other Crucible playlists. I feel this is an issue that may have something to do with the new match making. Maybe something that is not supposed to apply to Fireteams is actively dismantling them? Does this system average out the connections of a Fireteam? How does it work? My friend usually has a good connection, but sometimes it can be slow for up to a day or two. He said earlier he was in a game where literally everyone was glitching around from lag.
Not sure what to think of the new matchmaking...also...I can't shake the feeling that if I don't move around enough or if I am too quiet during a crucible match, I will get kicked. Are you using the Kinect to make sure I'm actually playing the game or something?
Earlier today my cat got behind my T.V. and I had to move my Kinect to get to her. I did not put it back right away, and I could not get destiny to let me play a single crucible match until I pointed it back at my couch and re-calibrated it. Meanwhile, I watched Hulu, Netflix, and played daily story missions in Destiny before I realized it wasn't pointing in the correct direction.
It's either a very, very, VERY odd coincidence, or the thing is actively listening when I plead "Wait! Nooooo! No don't boot me! I'm here and about to get blahblahblah bounty finished!!!" and the 'connecting to destiny servers...' bar goes right away.
So, just how paranoid am I being? Anyone else with a Kinect experience anything like this?
