Order of Operations:
Parentheses: (1 + 2 = 3)
So 6÷2(3)
Pemdas says Multiply
3×2=6
6÷6=1
EDIT: Fixed it since I put 3 in place of 2 for some reason.

It's 9, you forgot to work left to right. Solve the parenthesis then you are left with multiplication and division so you work let to right. 6/2(3)=3x3 3x3 = 9
