So much hype. I have a feeling that The Division is going to make a lot of people disappointed in the long run.
Edit: I was right.

It'll launch with great success but you know what? People are gonna take off work, skip school, and no life the game till they exhaust all content. Then if you don't have the dlc your screwed. It'll be like destiny in that regard. Hype = 24 hour gaming sessions at launch.
-
Only people who didn't learn about the game, or just have unrealistic expectations.
-
Dividiots am I right?
-
I'm preparing for the GOTY that releases on March 8th.

https://division.zone/2016/02/25/the-division-twitch-stream-new-facts-features-about-the-full-game/ 6.4 million players have played the Tom Clancy’s The Division open beta during the last weekend. A lot of them have also eagerly watched the by the developers hosted live stream on Twitch. One reddit user (aGreatGambino) has actually watched it for several hours and noted some new and interesting features we can experience in the full game. Here’s an excerpt of what is new. You do not start the game at level 4, it starts at level 1 – not in Manhattan. Best-In-Slot (BIS) gear cannot be only found in the Dark Zone, but also earned through PvE activities (missions, encounters, side-missions etc.). One of the developers also stated that “some of the best gear in the game you’ll be able to get through crafting“. The appearance menu UI will receive an update. Cosmetic items are account-wide Missions will have 3 difficulties: Normal, Hard, Challenge Mode The Dark Zone is not the only end-game component. The full game supports 3 different colorblind settings. After launch, there will be weekly maintenance, addressing bugs, fixes, balancing, house cleaning, etc. The Base of Operations will have a DZ Funds Vendor that allows you to convert regular Credits (orange) into DZ Funds (purple). However, you will still need a DZ Rank to acquire these ranked based gear items and weapons. Console versions will offer graphic settings to increase frame rate. You’ll be able to choose Performance, or Visual Fidelity Enemy NPC density and roaming capabilities in and out of the DZ will be increased. You will be able to customize your character’s appearance, forget about the random stuff. Contaminated zones might prevent you from exploring certain areas until you upgrade your gas mask. Update: 22:56. One of the developers who is responsible for The Division’s digital marketing in Europe has now apparently confirmed via Twitter private messaging system (source: reddit user Ramain; log), that Phoenix Credits are not microtransactions or anything like that. Phoenix Credits are not micro-transactions … In Tom Clancy’s The Division, there is no in-game currency that you can buy with real-world money. Phoenix credits is purely an in-game mechanic. Furthermore he has stated once more that only DLCs and the Season Pass are available to purchase with real money. https://division.zone/2016/02/26/what-to-expect-from-the-divisions-phoenix-credits-first-thoughts/ Could this be a raid currency. Update 01:40 All packshots have been deleted. One of the posted photos (credits go to @chillwithaps4), especially the back side of the game’s case, reveals some interesting info. You will need at least 40 GB of free space (PS4) and the Dark Zone can obviously accommodate a maximum of 24 players simultaneously. 24 players would allow to form up to 6 full squads (6×4). A PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription is required to be able to play with other players or in the Dark Zone. Although this was just the PS4 packshot, the amount of players per DZ instance on Xbox One and PC will probably be the same. https://division.zone/2016/02/27/the-division-ps4-packshot-confirms-24-players-in-the-dark-zone/

I'll be to busy with Halo 5... Lel
-
I'm preparing to enjoy it. After 2 betas or demos, whatever you want to call them, I think it's a blast.
-
It's gonna die faster than paper burning in a fire. I would give it 3-4 months if not less.
-
I'm waiting for it and I'm just going to laugh when it does.
-
The DEMO kinda sucked....... Stop calling it beta people. That was the finished game, we were just blocked out from the full game.
-
Enjoyed what I saw of the beta. The only people let down will be those hyping it up too much and those expecting a fast paced, competitive shooter. It isn't for everyone, no game is. Of course some people are going to be disappointed, just read these forums, some folk are expecting it to be something it isn't. It's an RPG. If you aren't building your character right it will take you several clips to kill stronger mobs .... just like any other RPG, shocking, I know. Equip gear with firearms stat and watch your damage magically increase. People that play it as a straight up shooter will be cannon fodder in the DZ and not get very far in the story. They will be disappointed. People wanting a straight up shooter should not buy it, they won't like it.

I'll give it the same lifespan as Watch Dogs Or any of the new assassin creeds
-
How can u like this game?? It sux
-
"So much hype".... yeah from you people on here. No live action commercials....no doritos....no red bull..... nothin....no Led Zeppelin,...no hot famous chick we are led to belive trolls the pvp area, only the people wanting the game . Or hating the game , thinking they can compare it to destiny. Very little hype actually.
-
Staying optimistic, hoping it'll be good, but expecting the worse. I think it'll be overhyped, then there will be a huge The Division hate bandwagon.
-
My expectations were never high to begin with; the beta dropped the bar even lower.
-
Everything and everybody lets me down..... Just a matter of time.
-
Nope just the inevitable letup.
-
even if its good, peoples expectations are way too high
-
Already decided not to buy it at full price.
