Twenty years ago on February 27th 1996, The first Pokemon games were released. Since then, the franchise has expanded beyond all expectations. With new games on the way, and 20 years of experience under out belts, lets look back at where it all started.
Which Starter did you choose? Charmander? Bulbasaur? Or Squirtle?
-
Squirtle and blue. My first Pokemon :3
-
My first pokemon game was fire red on GBA and I started with Squirtle
-
And to think it's still the same...and people complain about CoD being repetitive, that's NOTHING compared to the pokemans franchise.
-
I chose Bulbasaur. Here's to 20 years and to Sun and Moon!
-
Good times, also charmander for lyfe
-
Turtwig, because Diamond was first game.
-
I pulled old my old game cartriges and began a new adventure last night. Good times over the years but nothing beats the originals!
-
Honestly I'm younger so the first pokemon game I played was Diamond and Pearl when I was like 7 or 8 and the DS came out. But I did pick the blue one whatever it was. (Forgot)
-
Can't wait for Sun and Moon
-
Me and my brother just gave each other all 3

-
Squirtle because he made Brock easy.
-
Bulbasaur. Still my favorite starter.
-
Squirtle. I chose him again in LeafGreen, and he's still with me in OmegaRuby.
-
I remember stealing kids Pokemon cards in 2nd grade. It was a long path to jail time.
-
Bulbasaur since third grade.
-
never had the first but for Fire Red and Leaf Green my sis and me had it set up so that we had all three each

Red and charmander.
-
I remember back in elementary school pokemon cards were banned so we had to sneak around these huge binders full of cards and trade them like drug dealers.
-
Squirtle was my choice, blastoise is amazing
-
Bulbasaur, every time.
-
Charmander. Mega Charizard X FTW!
