I'm done.

GUYS, DIVISION IS ON THE SAME STEP AS MULTIPLICATION...WHEN YOU REACH THE PIONT WERE ALL PARENTHESIS ARE GONE, YOU HAVE TO GO IN WHAT COMES FIRST IN THE PROBLEM
-
Refer to my comment and restrain your brain.
-
No you solve the problem with PEMDAS then go from Left to Right. You don't just choose to multiply or divide first. Since the division comes first you divide then multiply getting 9. Ya herp.
-
PEMDAS 👍
-
Pemdas 1. Parentheses 2. Exponent 3. Multiply 4. Divide 5. Add 6.subtract
-
It's whatever comes first
-
You are one of the most intelligent people on this post.
-
Not sure if that is a compliment or not
-
It was.

Edited by stephen497: 2/28/2016 4:45:08 AMBrackets first. Either listen in class or go back to school

Lmao maybe you didn't if you think he's wrong
-
He is wrong.

Edited by Æsir: 2/28/2016 7:20:42 AMDivide and multiply left to right. Multiplication isn't done before division unless it is to the left of division.

I did fgt
-
Nope, pay more attention in school.
-
Edited by RedAlertSteve: 2/28/2016 3:53:01 AMMultiplying parenthesis is always first. Shît I'll take this to my professor
-
Edited by Æsir: 2/28/2016 3:53:35 AMPay more attention in school, the answer is 9.
-
How about you pay attention
-
I did, that's why I can correctly solve this equation and you can't.
-
I did and I don't divide first. Like what pemdas says

Edited by Æsir: 2/28/2016 4:19:34 AMYou don't understand pemdas because you are doing it wrong, this quote is from a mathematician.
3. Next, multiplication and division get carried out from left to right. So a*b/c*d is ((a*b)/c)*d. Note that division can be thought of as still carrying out a multiplication since a/b = a*(1/b), so it makes a certain sense that neither division nor multiplication takes precedence over one another.
multiplication and division get carried out from left to right.

These are the people breeding. Gg world. G -blam!-ing g.
