They didn't clone themselves from the DNA of a clone. I figured I would use that same technique for your food supply. If we could find the DNA of one of the first of your species, before they started cloning themselves, we may also be able to save your race. That's option A."-Silver

"We burnt his corpse... He's long gone, died protecting Tara a few years back. I'm a clone of his clone and therefore I don't expect to live much longer, by the time the tech came to be I would be dust in the wind and my descendant would hopefully have been created."
