The Doctrine is horrible imo. I prefer my Arminius-D. The recoil is quite manageable with just Counterbalance and Hakke iron sights are my favorite.
I use AR's exclusively in Crucible. My advice to everyone is to try guns you're interested in and make your own conclusions.

Good call. I think the issue is that it's not often available n with 3 choices people don't wanna make the wrong choice
