It's not me I care about, it's the others. I don't want them to keep having to see threads with my name on it so I'm making it clear. I've already stopped caring whether people think I'm a guy or an alt.

You're the latest "it" member around here. Happens every couple of months and blows over really quickly if you stop feeding it with threads trying to "explain" yourself. Last month everyone was swinging from Britton's sack, now he's hardly mentioned. Just ride the wave and it'll all pass soon enough.

You guys have the added caveat of being outspoken and often disagreed with members. Max does it intentionally. I think you do too to some degree. No idea what Link's motivations are. But I guarantee you that if any of you took off for a month or two and came back.. you'd be off the radar completely for a while until you started arguing again. Some of the biggest assholes and trolls in this site's history have recently showed back up and are posting again and no one has made a peep about it because they haven't been trolls or assholes. Internet forums have the memory of Alzheimer patients.

If you mean I intentionally call out bullshit when I see it, yeah I guess. But I don't disagree with people just to disagree with them. All of my views that I've expressed during my time here have been 100% genuine, save the occasional obvious bouts of sarcasm.

I'm not saying you're not genuine. I don't know you nearly well enough to make that call. Just that you readily enter confrontation and you have unpopular stances when it comes to your beliefs. That combination tends to make your "infamy" last a bit longer than the typical flavor of the month member.

It's cool. For the record, even though I'm still squarely under the idea that you're an alt, I'm not intending to be an asshole like your little doe-eyed fanboy above assumes I'm being. I've just seen this scenario play out so many times now and a lot of people realize pretty quickly that all the attention ruins their enjoyment of the place. Best not to feed it.
