Concerning order of ops: Rule 1: First perform any calculations inside parentheses. Rule 2: Next perform all multiplications and divisions, [u]working from left to right.[/u] Rule 3: Lastly, perform all additions and subtractions, working from left to right.

No, because you divide six by two first, then you multiply that by three to get nine, because multiplication and division work together, moving left to right.
