Just wondering what your opinions of Throwing Knives are.
Love 'em?
Hate 'em?
Can't use them well?
Any tips on how to use them?
Just want to hear what everyone's got to say about them :)

My hate for them is that they're the same button as the melee button So when an enemy is close and I got fire throwing knives, I attempt to throw them but instead leap across the map to melee them instead I can't count how many times my throwing knife would've secured the kill rather than hitting them with a melee

Love it to death but something inside of me screams OP for some reason
-
Love it but I think a crit shot should kill

"Are they leading or following up with the throwing knife? That's one way to tell an arrogant Gunslinger from a desperate one." —Ikora Rey

I mainly use throwing knives as a start, then finish them off with my weapon. But incendiary blade is a great postmortem killer

Throwing knife kills are the most gratifying.

I was good at them for a while. Then idk what happened

Edited by Jackzaa: 3/2/2016 6:01:33 AMLove em. A lot of people believe a precision hit should be a 1hk, I half-agree, under the right circumstances. Honestly, if I was in charge, I'd replace that useless circle of life perk with a sharp knives perk. Precision hits become a 1hko with a reduced headshot hitbox. It'd remove a notoriously useless perk and couldn't be used in conjunction with knife juggler because it's in the same tree. Solved. Edit: wrong perk name, it's 6am. Corrected.

I love that throwing knife headshot on a titan mid-shoulder charge.
-
I like them but if it was a 1hk to the head i think thats all people would be using
-
Love those precision kills with em!

So Sophisticated
-
Perfect as they are.

I use to wreck face with them back when Crucible was kind of fun. Ah well. Tis was a long time ago when killing a camping thorn user with Hawkmoon and then a throwing knife was satisfying.
-
Love em, only complaint is that i would like to see headshots be a 1-hit kill, because it can be tricky to use.
-
I want my throwing knife back if its stuck in the wall
-
They can make or break the gunslinger class depending on your skill
-
Great damage but the fact you have to choose a perk for burn whereas the other solar subclasses get it for free seems a bit nonsensical. Otherwise just fine. #buffthehawkmoon

I'd love if it they could
stick around
Edited by Neutrill: 3/2/2016 4:56:36 PMShould be a OHK to the head. Stupid that it isn't. It could get annoying with the perk that returns the knife if it's a precision kill though.

Wish the burn would actually work every time like it's supposed to.
-
The circle of life perks needs to be change to something along the lines of, "Giving more super energy on kill" or something because let's face it, circle of life is really useless. I hate that the burn doesn't proc all the time or doesn't burn for longer. Other solar subclasses have it why not gunslinger?

Every time I get a kill with one, I'm like
Mmmmmm
The ultimate shotgun defence.

Incredibly useful. Got me out of so many tough situations

Think they are awsome
