We all had those games, the ones we spent our childhoods playing, trying to get that last level, that last missions done
What did you all grow up on?
My personal games I grew up on, where Metroid and Zelda
Yeah yeah, Nintendo sucks, blah blah blah
But I loved the games, still do
Overall though, I preferred Metroid
Just the feel of the game, being Samus, and walking around these unknown planets in an attempt to save the Galaxy, and flying everywhere
The story was amazing, especially in the Prime trilogy
The Prime games (Prime 1-3) where what stuck with me the most, they're probably the most iconic as well
For Zelda, Twilight Princess and Majora's Mask are what stuck with me
Majora's Mask was creepy as hell, especially when I was younger, but it was a good game
Twilight Princess is what stuck with me though, the game has that "feel" to it, the one that makes you want to come back and play it again
Twilight Princess was dark and moody, with a long story that was well thought out as well
Trying to figure out puzzles was hard to
So, what where Offtopic's favorite games growing up?
Edit: a lot of Pokemon players, kewl

I frequently played with an Arum as a child

Old NFS games, a lot of obscure racing games, and this really old game called Battlezone. I also grew up with the 1999 Unreal Tournament which seems kinda odd for a kid to have.
-
Grew up with lots of Nintendo games on the N64 and Gamecube, but also on the PS2. I remember playing Smash Bros. and Smash Bros. Melee with my brother. Playing Mario Kart 64 and Mario Kart Double Dash. I remember having a lot of games for PS2.

Gosh, the memories... When I was just 4 or 5 I got my ps1, all my friends had the n64 though. I remember going to their house and just taking turns playing each other, it was so fun. Then I got my gameboy advanced later when I was like 9 or 10 I think. Played so much Pokemon, and when I got my PS2 I became a fan of racing games (NFS MOST WANTED). When I wasn't playing any of my consoles I was on runescape, poured so many hours into that game. I remember going to my friends house and playing star wars battlefront together on his ps2, that game was so much fun back then and when I look at it now it feels so bleh. I miss those times. Just yesterday I decided to plug in my PS3 for the first time in 7 months and play some black ops and I noticed that it was already growing old on me.. Kind of sad seeing consoles you spent so much time with start to die out

When I was really young it was Super Mario Bros. 1-3, Bubble Bobble, and the NES TMNT games.

This motorcycling game for a dell PC. It's so old it didn't have no box it was in a envelope with no cover art. Then I played a battleship game with the. Another envelope. Those were my only PC games at the time. Later on my life my dad got a used console and HALO CE Game of the year (they said this was rare). This was my first console game, the flood did not sit well with me at the time. Was not a fan of the flood. Took me a year and a half to finish the game due to the library and the mission after that.

Dank memes and hard koosh boiiiii!!!!
jk playstation orginal games like spyro and omega soldier! Also some nintendos games like donkey kong, mario, and legend of zelda
Legend of Zelda (Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask) Mario 64 Goldeneye Perfect Dark Paper Mario Yoshi's Story Pokemon (Stadium, Puzzle, Snap) Starcraft Banjo Kazooie A bunch of other Nintendo 64 games. The only PlayStation game I really played was Spyro. Had quite a few Gameboy games, but I mainly only played Yellow version on my special Pikachu Gameboy Color, man I miss that thing. I have a ton of Pokemon cards, but I never actually learned how to play properly, my friends and siblings would always just make up our own ways to play.
