So I haven't had a Call of Duty game since Modern Warfare.
Quite frankly I didn't like the predictable cliched route it was taking and I was just never interested in a game afterwards.
Black Ops 3 has appealed to me because of the colourful weapons (I'm a loot whore), the zombies mode (yes it's been in the games for a long time) and the splitscreen (which seems to be a rarity these days).
I was wondering if it's worth the buy? Is it a grind? Do all modes have splitscreen capability?
I appreciate any helpful replies.

This is the only cod I've liked on recent years since the first blops.

I got it, it's Girl Scout Simulator with how much camping there is.
-
Same thing as last 6 cods man.

Edited by DG Ancient: 3/3/2016 1:12:47 AMYou've missed out on some good CoDs sadly. Bo1, bo2, mw2. The others aren't worth playing really. Bo3 is def worth it. The grind is same just as any other CoD and the loot drops make it fun. Unlike the AW ones. Advice:Never buy supply drops. It'll ruin the game and is a waste of money.

Not a cod game since MW? Damn you've missed out to be honest, MW2 and Black Ops 1 campaigns were great and the zombies is still great.
-
It's fun to play about an hour at a time

I never got aw but I love black ops 3. I hadn't touched a call of duty in a long time but in about a week (I also have a life.) I am almost 2nd prestige and I have 3 guns gold.
my kd is 1.2ish and my psn is TacoBellScrub.
It's the only cod that I've enjoyed since mw3. It's really good and not too much of a grind. The campaign is one of the worst though IMO
-
It's awesome

It was better than Ghosts or AW, that alone is a good reason to buy. Zombies is good too

Bo3 is probably the best CoD in the last 3-4 years.

I didn't enjoy Bo3. After playing Titanfall, I don't like the parkour element to it. I also don't like how complex the new zombies maps are. What ever happened the simple maps, where you don't have to complete half the Easter egg to be successful? Kino Der Toten or Der Reise are their best maps, and they're simple: Open doors, and link the teleporter to get Pack-a-punch. Now you have to Turn something on, guard it for 3 minutes, do it 5 more times, grab a bunch of shit along the way, then you can use the pack a punch. It's just annoying.

Best cod since blops 1. I play hardcore mainly tdm/kc and average 30-40 kills in tdm and 40-50 in kc. Only cod ive enjoyed this much since the black ops 1/ mw2 days

I like it mainly for its multiplayer. love the improved movement mechanics & pretty solid gunplay. guns are for the most part balanced and is a very enjoyable multiplayer experience. I haven't played zombies because I don't get on for every long spans of time and would prefer to use that time in multiplayer, but the gameplay makes it seem less simple and has more objective like situations then in past cod zombie modes. I'd recommend the buy but it's not my money so watch some gameplay and decide if it's worth buying to you.

I don't know about campaign but all other modes support couch co-op while still being able to play online. (Multiplayer, zombies, and dead ops) People may say they hate the series, but it does a great job of giving you plenty to do. You can be casual and just have fun, or you can get really into it and go for challenges, calling cards, streaks, or easter eggs. But when it comes down to it; it's fun to play.

Buy it you won't be disappointed
-
It's good, but wait until the end of the week. They just released an update that will need an update
-
I just bought it a couple days ago and have enjoyed it the most out of any cod since the original black ops, but I guess that's not saying much. Don't buy it if it's not at a discounted price.
-
Its one of the best CODs yet and its arguably the best Multiplayer shooter of 2015 when you combine the zombies, campaign, and multiplayer Yeah id buy it.

I like it. Unfortunately I've heard that with the addition of the DLC it has started to play hell with networking since players are now split 4 ways on 2 consoles. Also not a fan of their P2W type testing with only having certain weapons inside of the supply crates.

I don't much care for the cod games anymore, I don't like the futuristic approach
