Wouldn't it be cool...

If there was a "Dark" subclass in Destiny? Like, if you had to choose one of your character's to corrupt, and then you had to play a really cool quest: STEP ONE:
Talk to the Speaker and he will talk about experimenting with the Darkness to see if it can be modified to use against itself. You then talk with Eris Morn about the suggestion. Eris will tell you that it is dangerous, but it is possible the light could be used reverse engineer the darkness.
STEP TWO
You then must go on a special mission to a piece of equipment that would allow you to infuse yourself with darkness. (This mission would be sort of like Promethean Code, in the sense that you need to go and find something buried away. Once you find this, return to the Speaker and he will ask you to go to Dead Orbit. Dead Orbit's (superb) technicians will modify the tool into an artifact that you must equip. This artifact will allow you to absorb the Darkness into your body. It will go in you artifacts slot, but it will be visible on your Guardian in-game. It will look almost like black spheres that go on your guardian's chest, palms, and legs.
STEP THREE
You must go out to each planet and kill 100 of each race. But with each kill, your character's stats slowly decrease. After you've completed this, you must go to the dreadnaught and a Taken Wizard. (Normally this wizard would be super easy to fight, but it's very hard because you characters stats have decreased.) Once you defeat this Wizard, you must return to the speaker. He will comment on the fact that he sees almost no light in you anymore. He will then say that Eris wants to speak with you. Eris will say almost the same thing the speaker says, but will then tell you to go to the room where you killed Oryx (in the raid) and that everything will be concluded there.
STEP FOUR
Do the raid again. At the end, after beating Oryx, a cut scene will play. The cutscene involves your guardian walking towards the end of the room, where a bunch of the little glowing taken orbs are in a circle. you walk in the middle and the orbs start to pour more darkness into the spheres on you. After about two seconds, you are lifted into the air and all light is drained from you. There is nothing left but Darkness. The little orbs explode, and you are sent flying back. You land on your back, and you are about to fall unconscious. But before you do, you catch a glimpse of your hand. It is the same armor you've worn and known, but it's surrounded black and purple energy, the Darkness.
STEP FIVE
You are returned to orbit. You must talk to Eris. She says that it worked, and that you successfully reverse engineered the darkness. She says it would not be wise to let the speaker see you like this. Thus the quest is complete, and your character is now corrupted. They have negative versions of there original abilities, and the storyline and dialogue are changed a little bit. You can only corrupt one character, and the process is non-reversible. The artifact now heals you and regenerates ammo when killing ultras. Weapons and armor are also slightly different I'm function now.
I got this idea from another recent post, and I kinda got inspired. I still don't know what the negative abilities would be yet, but that's up for discussion. So did you like it?
