Definitely a big point for Bungie. How will they handle this? Too many people harping on Thursdays TWAB but I think Bungie is holding out to see what they're really dealing with, what their numbers look like Tuesday and moving forward. They can't take the Division release as real competition and see what they're stacked up against, they can hold all their chips and fold until Destiny 2, or they will be the utmost ignorant and think "nothing to see there." Good luck to them if they do that last one. Hopefully for gamers it's an interesting March ahead...

Not the actual game itself. They had 6.4 million player while destiny only has 4.6 million Edit: those numbers are also players that have purchased the game and played it before TTK. Division's numbers are for a free beta test.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the division went the same way as most all Ubisoft games: awesome trailers, awesome gameplay videos, ANNNNDDD after a month of the game being out everybody agrees that it's shit.

One thing corporations know how to do with great proficiency is mudsling. It works for presidential hopefuls, why not? What they don't do well is cognitive reasoning. I'd venture to guess anyone who is willing to put down destiny for another somewhat similar has already done so or, like me, are simply waiting for Tuesday. This quote does nothing to actually draw peoples attention away from destiny, quite the contrary. The violence in the division does seem realistic. Coming from someone who's held down friends' bullet wounds, it's not a fun thing to witness. The violence in destiny is more like a comic book. It's not very graphic at all. I don't know if the division will be quite that graphic. I still pre ordered it. We will see.
