Division will definitely draw players over. But it will grow stale and people will migrate back. Happens every time theres a big release, and one such as division will be no different.

Actually that's why there's so much hype. In its genre, destiny hasnt had any true competition. The division is a direct competitor. Which will most likely have similar if not greater longevity

And thus you can't judge it negatively because it's a 3rd person shooter. That's like saying mass effect is a horrible game because there are aliens, and you don't believe in aliens
