The division wouldn't exist if destiny didn't because they stole plenty of the ideas from it

Like in game trading, cosmetics that don't affect what gear you want to equip, and matchmaking for every event, even story missions?

Edited by Stanry Roo: 3/5/2016 6:40:33 PMHahaha like that's has any original content in destiny
-
So then destiny copy pasted borderlands huh.
-
And warframe

The Division and Destiny were both shown off at E3 2013 for the first time. I HIGHLY doubt Ubisoft had detailed info on the ins-and-outs of Destiny by then. However, since it's been a year and a half since Destiny first released, Massive (the actual devs of the game) probably took some cues from the things Destiny didn't get right and tried to do it right in their game. It's just a smart business move.

Hadn't they been planning the division for years? Like wasn't it supposed to come out 2-3 years ago?
-
Bungie was working on destiny before the division was a thought bubble
-
Not really
-
Such as?
-
It has so many similarities to destiny and if it didn't then why would people compare it to destiny
-
Good supporting evidence bud, I agree with your whole one point that is just a reworded version of your first post. Keep at it :)
-
What specifically have they stolen? You basically just reworded your first response.
-
First I'm glad that I got a thought over response instead of the usual response which is , "destiny is dead bye u noobs omg the division will kill destiny" or something like that , But secondly I like the division and it is very fun to my eyes because it feels a bit more like a polished more relatable easy to get into version of destiny , but the division has had a year to watch destinys movements and mis steps and they could have seen what would make a game like destiny successful and what wouldn't be , I know the pvp is very different but it is another shooter mmo with rng and boss fights and different tier weapons and levels and I know many shooters do this but when I played the beta it just felt like destiny but more in our life time and it was good but I was so used to jumping and it shook me up a bit but I thought it was good but still they have had a long time to watch bungies moves and they now know what to do and what not to do so my theory is that it will be very similar and will be very easy for destiny players to join

I just realised I angered a lot of division fanboys
-
That's called an opinion champ
-
That's not hard evidence, that's speculation.

Edited by Gerbilo: 3/5/2016 1:37:53 PMYou are not very good with evidence are you. If someone asks you why. Don't just say because people compare it to destiny.
-
That's what I'm trying to get at, without being unnecessarily rude lol
-
What?
