We survived descope in Halo, I think we could manage to get by with it in Destiny. It'd also make very distinct times where you SHOULDN'T use a Sniper Rifle instead of them being the almighty versatile special they currently are.

How about descoped on headshot? Since in pve u cant get headshooted i think

I'm not against a bouncing scope that if you get hit forces a de facto descope by player choice instead of a flinching scope. If a dreg pistol, shank or random AR bullet can descope you then that's a bit too much. Maybe taking your shield out would be acceptable too.
