It takes you out of the game and burns you for 14 seconds. Watch any major streamer of YouTuber, they'll tell you the Sunsinger sub class is the most broken class, and that Viking funeral should be just taken out of the game.

The firebolt at its core and base stats is not OP. It is the 2 perks that compliment it that make it OP

Viking funeral and touch of flame fire bolts and a body shot from any scout rifle, last word, couple bullets from doctrine and you're done, almost 50% more damage than all other nade other than stickies

Fire bolts with two perks burn and keep an enemy for an average of 14 seconds. Basically keeping an enemy near death (one shot) for 14 seconds prevents a team push. Which would be fine, if the player did anything else but throw a grenade in the general zip code.
