-
Why are you not replying to the comments that proved it's op(like mine made 2 hours ago ) scared much?
-
OP uses hawk moon and fire bolt and says they aren't Op lol did you forget your satire tag?
-
If they aren't OP, then why don't Sunsingers use something else? When EVERY warlock in trials is running Sunsinger Touch of Flame Viking Funeral firebolt, there's obviously a problem. If it's "balanced", use something else then.
-
Here fam I'll prove it it's one of those grenades which can be thrown like 10 meters away from you and not even properly aimed at you and does 162 damage with the tof + viking funeral and leaves you for one shot. I think the grenade has to be Atleast thrown or aimed at you ok not just thrown 10 meters away from you and do a 162 damage while you completely missed or can't throw the grenade hence firebolt + tof + vf = noob friendly grenade
-
I think you're biased.
-
I like how the main argument is "it takes TWO nodes", as if it means anything. Look at the other choices! All grenades ignite enemies vs hovering in the air vs an extra grenade. Angel of Light leaves you EXTREMELY vulnerable, absolutely no reason to use it. An additional grenade could be decent, but not nearly as helpful as insane DoT on an AoE grenade. Increased Radiance duration vs increased Ignite duration vs Scorch-killing having a chance to drop an orb. The increased Radiance only gives a max of TWO grenades, assuming you're spamming them. Really? Do I really need to explain the last one? The argument that "it requires two nodes" is pointless because the other possible perks are useless compared to Firebolt + Viking Funeral.

-
Also it took 2 perks for sunbreaker to be OP but it got nerfed
-
Firebolts are my favorite grenade
-
Because they rock in 1v1 engagements and everybody wants to be a hero.
-
I feel that most of the issue is the duration that Firebolt grenades remove you from a fight. The long burn plus the recovery time basically makes you useless in a fight till fully recovered. The fact of the matter in Destiny is that in the majority of firefights you will take damage. And after the burn a shot from anything but an auto (and maybe some autos) will kill you. Just a long time to be out of a fight. Also for those of you saying "Just tell a teammate" it doesn't really matter if your teammate knows if you're now useless in the fight for about 15 or 20 seconds
-
Lol deff not op so let's get the community to get over that lmao
-
Umm they pretty much kill you, I mean it's not like they don't lower almost all off your health or anything
-
Edited by Nero: 3/7/2016 1:19:24 AM1 shot from anything+Viking Funeral FireBolt Yep that's not op let's Nerf fusion rifles instead.
-
I honestly just find them annoying. I rarely die from one or am killed right after being tagged, the burning just annoys me because you have to wait for a bit for it to stop and for your health to regen. Aside from that I have no issue with them.
-
it's not op it's easy mode because you force me to run away for about 10 seconds
don't call me on being salty if you check my stats you will see i'm a pve player and don't care about trivial things like pvp
-
The problem with them lies in the fact that they aren't meant to kill. They are tactical nades. You can tag somebody and run off and heal, then they will still be being burned. Then you can tickle them and they die. If you tag all three enemies (in trials of course) then you can run back, get a res, and then one shot each one. They put guardians out of commission for 14 seconds. That's a long time in a shooter like Destiny.
-
Because all the other perks aren't exactly awesome, and it makes you able to be two shot from a DoP, one shot from almost any other weapon. The burn is also a concept that just needs to go
-
I dont think many people realize that firebolts were made mainly to keep guardians out of firefights to heal so you can pick off the teammates in a somewhat fair fight, the people who use firebolts to weaken for easy kills are honorless bastards who dont know what a fair fight is
-
Are you kidding me? They are one of the most OP things in the game rn. The range on them is pretty good and if you get tagged and have full health then you burn down to about 1/3 health making you easy to kill. Or if you had already taken damage you're screwed if tagged
-
True. You can't kill people with it and it takes 2 perks to do what it is hated for
-
Lul, OP's k/d is bad
-
Got hit last 2 week ago with the firebolt grenade man
I am still burning -___-
-
Both warlocks and hunters have way too many tools to get kills I mean hunters got those wombocompo shit and warlocks got firebolts and an hour lasting stormcaller super Meanwhile titans shoulder charge barely works and sunbreakers can easily die from a single melee... thanks bungo we at least know which subclass you couldn't care less about
-
Maybe the fact that in a team based game mode like trials they can effectively remove 1,2, or all three players from an engagement without actually having to engage. Simply toss the grenade around a corner and push for easy kills. Just because it doesn't one hit is not a balancing factor and the "it takes up perk slots" argument is retarded. Case and point of this is pre patch sunbreakers. The entire subclass is geared toward the super and it was still nerfed and rightfully so.

Edited by KnockdownPath77: 3/6/2016 9:42:52 PMQuotes that "firebolt nades aren't good" has firebolt nades equipped and if they aren't good then why are you defending them? Just wondering Edit: I think that they should just make it do the same dmg but with no burn
