Doom's official Twitter account is holding a poll for what should be the reverse cover for Doom.
Here's option A

Here's option B

A is cool, but is just too plain. The interesting thing is that the Icon of Sin is on it, so could it return in a boss fight?
I prefer B, because it very closely resembles the original Doom's cover.
And because it looks -blam!-ing badass
Voting ends on Monday

B FTW Really reminds me of genre's rootz
-
B looks like it's the old school cover and I never played a doom?
-
b because it's interesting to look at

I love option b. Stuff happens in it.
-
When I download it digitally, I never get a case. :(

B for nostalgia

Edited by Vgnut: 3/6/2016 7:22:59 AMI guess the marketing strategy is to make DOOM, which is already looking generic, look even more generic with what may be the most generic cover I've ever seen so it can sell to the lowest common denominator? I don't understand how Bethesda could bring Wolfenstein back to life and are completely missing the mark with DOOM. One of those reverse covers (let's be honest, it's Cover B) should be the official cover.

Who the hell honestly cares what the cover is? Really? Is that how we're judging games now, on how cool the cover looks? It could be a plain black case, I honestly don't care.

Holy -blam!-, B looks awesome. A just does not catch the eye as much, besides the pentagram. B captures the mood of the game. One Space Marine kicking demon ass in hell.
