The burn time is just so damn long. I wouldn't even mind the damage output if the burn time was cut in half and did double damage per tick.
Still have time to escape with my life and I get back in the action faster if I happen to not take a bullet while burning.

That the point of grenades in destiny though, they rarely ohk and are mainly used strategically

That's the thing though. Still burns for 5 seconds and if you can tag me with the grenade and basically any bullet, you got me.

I agree that it's a pain, but as a sunsinger, you're basically trading your super for that grenade.

Or 10 of them. :p Really though, that's my only issue with that subclass. Not the damage, but the burn time. As someone who saw quite a bit of that in y1, they aren't as big a problem as people make them out to be. I have more of a problem with Stormcaller than anything.

Stormcaller is super fun to play, so yeah I see why it's frustrating.

It is. It's the only Warlock subclass I used in IB Rift because of its ability to clear small areas of large amounts of enemies very quickly. Then roam around the map for 10 extra seconds with nothing to kill. XD
