I have Aspergers as well so I know the feeling. People think that if you have autism, you're completely retarded sometimes and that you're easy to make fun of. I've seen it on Xbox and at my high school. The truth be said though, you can be the most intelligent and kindest person and still have autism. Some people, like me and you I'm guessing, are so mature and control our disability so well, that most people don't even notice something wrong with us. Honestly, I feel worse for the people who make fun of it because they're missing the whole point. I am currently in all honors classes, a great Xbox player, and an amazing swimmer, and I still don't let my disability control me. That is all I have to say.

Well I'm a bit older than you but yes, I control mine because I have to act normal in my job so it rarely comes out unless I have change forced upon me or something happens that disrupts my routine.

I understand. And yes, mine sometimes comes out when there is a sudden change. But overall, I can handle it very well :)

THANK YOU. I can never get this point across to anyone whom thinks otherwise. I'm not incapable of daily tasks. I can drive. I can clean up after myself. I can pay my own taxes. I've attend college for years now. My brain is just wired differently and how I visualize everything. I don't understand why the term, "autistic" HAS to be used as an insult, not to mention Asperger's. It's not humorous. It's the way I was born. I cannot change that. I can change my interests, but I cannot change my personality.
