Bloodborne.
Like just today, I was fighting Mergo's Wet Nurse for the first time, and-

Haha, the first time against her well definitely throw you for a loop. But comparatively a pretty easy boss. You get the dlc?

Not yet. I'm planning on getting it on Thursday.. Which is annoying, because I'm at the last boss, already! (with all side bosses completed) So, until then I'm going through the dungeons. I'm at the Bloodletting Beast, currently. I heard you can get beast claws in the dungeons. I want beast claws. ._.

Yes you can. Only place you can get them. And I'd definitely stick with what you're doing, you don't wanna start the dlc on ng+. Even on a first playthrough, the dlc bosses make the regular game bosses look like they're in easy mode. But if you get the flaws and beat a certain dlc boss, you'll get a rune that enhances the claws. Makes them really fun. You running a specific build?

Ludwig's Blade + Tonitrus (Ludwig main, Tonitrus secondary) Hunter's Cap + Gascione's clothes (don't know my arms/boots) Empty Phantasm Shell + Augur of Ebriatas (Augur is love, Augur is life) Ah yes, I kinda spoiled it for myself, and know about the transformation runes.. Both of them seem like great fun! I want to make a Beast build, a Kin build, and an Arcane build, but none of those can be started until pretty late in the game. (the first two requiring the DLC) ..Come to think of it the Arcane build would kinda just go with the Kin build, thematically.. (most spells are Kin-like)

Yeah the kin one scales off arcane. I think skill too maybe. Beat claws are just straight up strength skill. My recent playthrough i did a bloodtinge/skill build. Been pretty fun.

I was kinda talking about how the spells look like Kin stuff. I wish it wasn't so hard to switch builds in Bloodborne. I love testing out a bunch of weapons! ^-^ Wanna recommend me a build for my second playthrough? I missed so much on my first run (blind run, until the end) that I'm gonna make a new guy before NG+. :)

I'd say skill and bloodtinge or arcane. I say skill because when you get rakuyo its a beast, and if you go with bloodtinge first you have chikage which is really good. If you'd rather go strength, id say strength/arcane and get the holy moonlight sword.

I'm probably going to switch to the Monlight Sword on my current guy. :p I don't want to go strength again, but arcane seems funnest! But the Augur isn't found until the Nightmare, which would be my main spell in an Arcane build.. (probably) I'd probably use the Kos Parasite along with that, but that's also pretty far in.. Got any weapons to go with that? ^-^'

I think rakuyo skales on arcane and skill, so that'd be a good compliment to kos parasite. And there's the blacksky eye in the dlc, kinda like a single shot version of the spell micolash uses (can't remember the spell name right now)

Micolash uses the Augur of Ebriatas (<3) & A Call Beyond (the Cosmos, of course!). Anyhow, know any early(er) game weapons? That's more where I've no idea. The closest thing to an early game Arcane weapon/tool I know of is the Executioner Gloves, but even those are post-Rom.

Call beyond, that's what I'm thinking of. Blacksky eye is kinda like a single shot of of of those. As for an early weapon, only one i can think of is the blades of Mercy. Only way to get it early is to kill the crow chick, and she's not a pushover. You'd probably want to start with the axe though, so you'd have something that could stagger the big guys, cus those little daggers won't do it.

Hm.. Blacksky Eye? Can't find it on the wiki.. Kill Eileen? Yeah.. No thanks. She was hard enough on my current guy. (failed her questline) :p

Ooh.. Pretty eye.. Anyhow, I don't want to use Ludwig's sword again, because it's my current build. I did find out you can get the Tonitrus pretty soon after beating the Blood Starved Beast, though. I mean, technically I shouldn't want to use it, since it's a weapon on my current build, but it's a secondary weapon, so hopefully it won't feel like I'm repeating myself. ^-^ I think I might make a thread, so I can get a bunch od responses. Thanks for yours, though. :3

Oh, I [i]love[/i] the Tonitrus! It probably would've become my main weapon on my current build, if it's durability wasn't so low. But alas, I returned to Ludwig's Holy Blade.
