It's dangerous, because of paradoxes and shit But imagine taking all our technology to the Romans and explain how it all works, then travelling to 2016 to see how advanced the technology is, then go back with that advanced technology, explain how to use it and then travel back to 2016 This will be repeated until the IPhone 823 has been invented
