Personally I am really enjoying it and loving it. I play many different styles of games. RPGs are one of my favorites, and this has a lot of RPG elements. I also like the 3rd person. Never bothered me in any game, I can adapt to just about anything. So to me yes, it's absolutely worth the money. If anything just don't buy season pass, only buy the regular game so that way you can trade it in if needed. But I still recommend trying to rent it if possible.
