Technically no, since it is not in the Bible. Generally, the Protestant church finds it to be no canonical, while the Catholics sometime in the 16th century decided it was. It is essentially some sort of supplemental scriptures, for lack of better words. Very interesting to look into if you care about who wrote what when and what made it into the Bible and didn't.
