How long have you been a furry? With the recent release of Zootopia, I've been seeing a lot of new furries coming around.

I actually have not been one for very long... About a year or so.

Edited by Pyrowo1f: 3/12/2016 2:52:09 AMWhat caused you to realize that you were one? If you can point to something in particular, anyway.

I liked to pretend I was an animal since I was little. I knew about them before and was curious so I watched a couple furry youtubers and eventually I made my own fursona.
-
Glad you decided to. And yes, about your fursona. You said it was a catwolf? Any backstory? Special abilities or talents? Or is it just a fluffier version of you/your ideal self?
-
Actually he can blend in with shadows. I'm good at sneaking up on people. I think I'll come up with some sort of back story but as of now I don't have one.
-
Just good at stealth, or actually melding with shadow? The former could be easily pawned off on them being part cat, but the latter might require a bit of backstory. Either way, that's pretty neat. Seen lots of wolves and lots of cats, but not many hybrids of the two. What type of cat?
-
Not really a specific type of cat... I guess you're asking because the cat part may appear in his fur. He just has some more cat-like features. Also his fur actually changes to match the shadows but he controls it. Also his eyes turn white and are unaffected by shadows but he can change those too.

Fair enough. *shrug* Different cats have different features. Siamese are slender, Persians have a squished face, and Maine Coons have floofy tails. Of course, when you say cat, most people will think of the domestic shorthair as the most fundamentally catty cat. *shrugs again* Regardless, it's always a pleasure to meet other furs. I have no further questions at this time, but I might be back.

Okay, and what I mean by cat features are retractable claws, elongated ears, cat eyes, a somewhat elongated wolf tail, whiskers, and his upper canine teeth are visible.
