The Queen is alive and works with Eris
Eris and the Queen belong to a group called the Hidden. Eris pulled the Queen from her ship by teleporting her like we were teleported from Crota's End. The Queen was the "contact near Saturn that said the weapon only fired once" - Ikora Ray. Eris and the Queen worked together to get Oryx to fire the weapon to kill his men and the Guardian would kill Oryx, therefore eliminating the threat of the Hive from returning. Soon, the Queen will return to fight alongside Petra Venj to kill the Cabal when they come into the system. The Cabal sent a distress signal to the head of the Cabal empire after all. That'll be the 2016 DLC Bungie is talking about. Give me y'alls thoughts!!!

You know what? I think Eris and the traveler are dating and the queen is totally the third wheel and trying to get some traveler ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Edited by Stormhawk118: 3/12/2016 8:30:07 AMI dont believe the queen is dead, I think she is trapped in a hive throne realm like crota and oryx's, basing this on the quest text I read while doing the boolean gemini quest, but she isnt with eris' hidden, I believe eris was more of an informant for the queen, and vice versa, with the queen giving eris info on the hive that eris relayed to the vanguard, and you are right, she sacrificed her fleet so the guardian would have a chance of getting aboard the dreadnaut
