(I'm gonna post whole Campaign Description here so bare with me.) Hello! My name's Tyvonn Johnson . First and foremost, I want to take the time to thank you for even going on this gofund me page and reading my page, taking time out of your day just to read this means a lot. A couple things about myself; Im a sophomore in college, I really enjoy the color yellow, I love to be physically active, I love to talk especially when it comes to public speaking, and I love helping others (not to be corny or anything). I'm apart of this program called Colorado Uplift. Colorado Uplift is a non-profit organization that teaches urban children about positive characteristric traits and life skills. I joined Uplift (it was an elective at school) my junior year of highschool and it has had a big impact on my life. Every Wednesday we would go to Maury middle school and teach a lesson to the kids pretaining towards positive character traits. Outside of school we would go on social outings such as; water rafting, snowboarding, bowling, movies, water tubing and just hanging out. After a couple years I've joined a class called Advanced Leadership which is a branch of Colorado Uplift. This class goes more in depth as far as what it takes to be a leader and how to influence others in positive ways. Each year at the end of the class, Advanced Leadership goes on a service trip. This year we planned our trip to Tijuana. It is our goal this year to go to Tijuana and build houses for several impoverished families. Unfortunately, it kinda cost money to travel. Each individual is suppose to raise $450.00 for the trip. Any type of donations you guys can give will go towards not only my required $450.00 but for others who are also in the class, which is why my goal is $5000. We have give or take, 80 people who plan on going to this trip. I plan on raising as much as possible by the 14th of April because we planned the trip on April 21st. I would love to go on this trip because not only do I want to be able to make a positive impact on someones life (which is on my bucket list), but I want to gain more perspective about society and others life. I want to grow more maturely and appreciate what I have in my life. Any type of donations, be it $5 or just $1, would GREATLY be appreciated. I know there's a lot of people out there who would love to go out and help families in need , but just don't have the time.
