Often times the character's traits are idealized. So for example, someone who's shy might make their fursona brave signifying that one day he wants to break out of being shy and be brave like his character. Some fursonas may have a marking on their back or upper arm such a musical note or an audio icon to signify that its creator loves music and probably composes. With this in mind, you begin to see why a furry fan's Fursona is something extremely special and extremely personal.
