This is what truly defines a year 1 player. Does anybody else miss the light bar that shows at the bottom of your emblem?
For those who do not know or remember, in year 1--before the House of Wolves expansion--after reaching the max level of 20, we had to acquire armor that had a stat of Light. We needed to accumulate a specific number of Light to "level up". For example, we needed 21 light to be level 21, 32 light to be level 22, 43 to be level 23, etc.
The light bar worked as a indicator to show much light visually you need before the next light level. The image attached shows a light level 26 warlock with a bit of the light bar, meaning he has a long ways to gear up before the next light level.
I wish they would bring that back, and use it with the current or new light system they may implement in the future.

Started from the bottom man we all went through the struggle, that first nightfall, raid, legendary, exotic. All those moments are practically gone unless you delete all your characters
