Dark souls 3's game storage seems a little small compared to other games that have come out with their games being anywhere between 30gb-60gb. If I remember correctly dark souls 3 is like under 20gb.
Is that going to mean it's going to be a small game? Just seems odd if you ask me...

Edited by Sorana3: 3/17/2016 4:40:51 AMIt's still got about a month till release, plus it hasn't 'gone gold' yet, so that may not even be the final file size. It also depends on how they code the game of course. Also I've noticed that the file sizes shown on the marketplace can be inaccurate. I've download games before only to go into manage and find it was GB's above the listed number. Edit: Just looked up the file size of Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin on Xbox One, it says it's only 12.2 GB. Dark Souls III is showing a file size of 17.32 GB. So far it appears to be an improvement.

Witcher 3 was 30 ish gigs I believe. That should tell you file size does not indicate game size.

File compression is the practice of packaging a file or files to use less disk space. The File Compression category includes software programs that will archive your files and extract archived files such as ZIP and RAR files. Many products in this category let you manage files and protect them with encryption.

Elder scrolls online was 62 GB. And it has some huge map areas .-.

Don't be fooled, big things come in small packages.

Could be a smaller game, could be a lot of assets that appear multiple times. Could be a lot of things, but I'm sure the game will be great.
