No, they don't. They are the ones who designate what that expansion includes Not you. If you have a problem with the value of said purchase, don't buy the next one.

Oh how much I love these types of responses ... "if you don't like it, then just don't buy it" Yeah, you're right, and I'm sure Bungie would prefer players to stop buying expansions too. You know, that whole business plan of selling games, screw it... we's rather sink than hear negative criticism They want us to blindly buy expansions, with no idea what it will include. If it's going to fizzle out, and become a bunch of cheap gimmicks, to appease people's complaints, then my wallet won't be involved with the next expansion

They tell you exactly what it'll include to give you some sort of way of determining if you think it's a good value or not. It is NOT a subscription. You paid one time for a one time thing.

They tell you whats in dlc, but their dlcs all seem empty. Once you do everything it just doesnt feel like $40 well spent. The taken king should have been $20 but they gave all those stupid exclusive cosmetics to justify doubling that. We still dont even have all the exotic gear we paid for.

I won't buy the next one everyone was forced to buy the new one or become irrelevant. I went through Y1 without any DLC got my Warlock to Lvl 34. Taken King came out changed Light System. Couldn't become max without their Over Priced DLC.

you have 406 hours in the game. for the money you spent, you paid $.25 per hour. yeah.. can see how that grinds your gears.
