Here's my ways The Division can learn from Destiny.
[b]Change 1: Match making[/b] - I don't want to walk up to a mission start and be able to start hosting an instance or joining another with match making. Make me go to a website and post on forums to find partners is I want to experience the game with others.
[b]Change 2: Too much content[/b] - Ubisoft, you done goofed, I'm 40 hours in and still have a good chunk of content including side missions and main story missions. It should only take me 8 hours to finish the story and hit the level cap Remove 75% of the content and sell it as DLC.
[b]Change 3: Speaking of caps[/b] - where's my currency cap? I've earned 75,000 of the in game currency and some people have hundreds of thousands. Uh ... did you forget to add a cap or something?
[b]Change 4: Locations[/b] - The playable area is too big, make it a lot smaller and add a bunch of baby bumpers that keep you confined to narrower environs.
[b]Change 5: emotes [/b] - I need them, I want to pay money to have my character slow clap. Luke Smith is so disappointed in you.
[b]Change 6: light level[/b] I'm uncomfortable about being able to reach the maximum level through playing the game and earning experience. I feel like my level should be tied to randomly receiving the appropriate gear.
[b]Change 8: Other[/b] - Weapon shaders: yuck. Gear trading: gross. A shooting range? Can you say [i]gimmick[/i]! RPG elements: too complicated, need to be dumbed down. In-game lore: nope, just nope.

Lol bungie took down my response because they couldn't handle the truth. Apparently calling someone a "sad desticle" is grounds for censorship, yet I see many other posts with name calling still not censored. Whatever. Destiny is still dying, people are moving to better games. No amount of biased forum moderation will change the facts.

All that stuff you said is just filler in the division . Half that stuff you don't need to do. Just do the main missions hit 30 then quit until new content. Who wants those boring side quest,encounters it's just dumb. Oh and the map is not that big it's because you run everywhere . Go to the edge and it stops you just like destiny.

Except unlike destiny you can explore the tops of buildings and everything else in the city. Plus it takes about 10 minutes to sprint from side to side in the division. Pretty sure running in destiny wouldn't even take half as long to do circles around the entire patrol zones. As for the filler content claim, maybe it is maybe it isn't. Some of the side missions are actually interesting and aid in explaining the storyline. Thing is though, I'd rather have filler content to keep me busy even if it's slightly boring than have no filler content at all and be straight up bored with nothing to do (destiny).

It took you 40 hours to complete what was it 8 story missions? You really count all of the side missions as content considering majority of them are replicas of each other. It's like me saying Destiny has so much content I did the warsat event like 40 times and have still so much to do.

Except it's not. Side missions are more involved than you think and while the premise might be similar each one is unique.

Not really.. I've literally done them all, they're almost all carbon copies of a set of maybe 5 different scenarios.

I think division also needs to implement some kind of loading screen. Rather then having orbiting ships they should show your character running for a few minutes whenever you leave the base or finish a mission / leave and enter dark zone.
