Destiny was not a let down.

The reasons i say snd truly believe destiny was not a let down. -The constant attention bungie has put into the game. The nerfs or buffs, updates or changes to the sandbox and game world, all of these actions show they are paying attention. - we asked for vault space Yeah it took them some time but we got it. We also got them to have the gunsmith to sell weapon parts. - Nerfs to TLW,Thorn, Vex myth in my opinion were fair. The thorn was a nightmare in pvp year 1 along with TLW ads glitch and range. - pvp balance. I sincerely feel pvp is as good as it has ever been balance wise. The problem now is the lag because the population is so low that players get matched from across the globe, thus we get the redbars. - no other console game i can think of has been updated and maintained as often as bungie has with destiny. - FINAL NOTE. All these players of destiny (including me) simply became ao addicted to the game that we burned through the content too fast. Bungie was never going to be able to keep up with the demands of the community. I myself have been super critical of this game but at the end of the day i certainly got my $ worth. I did not move forward with TTK for one true reason. I was burnt out from all the pve stuff. I really think we all got to love and enjoy the game too much, almost to a fault. We live and learn. Maybe one day ill get TTK maybe not but i really have enjoyed the adventures of VOG, C.E, P.O.E and the cool memories and friends made along the way even if they have moved on.

  • The gameplay is solid. I like the responsiveness of the gunplay very much. The rng has been very punishing to me. I was a forever 29. After TDB, one of my characters got to 32 by equipping an exotic, the rest were forever 31. HOW I saw all three make it to level 34- a vast improvement even though I don't enjoy arena/horde mode model so I played very little of POE. The vex didn't drop for me until HOW while I helped show the ropes to new players. The Gjallarhorn never dropped for me although I saw it drop for a friend 8 out of the 13 total for him. TTK I'm experiencing the same thing. Duplicates occur more often than ever. Thanks to challenge mode duplicates from Golgoroth my guardians are stuck at 316 & 317 while the friends I raid with regularly are all 319 & 320. I've had one never before owned exotic weapon and 3 never before owned exotic armor pieces drop for me. Once I purchase from Xur, those items have dropped for me. I played because I enjoy playing with my friends. Other than that, I've given up on progression in the game. No matter how much time I put into it, making it to maximum level is more than likely not going to happen. Most of my friends got the division. Having a blast playing it. I might be back in April to check out the new content as long as it isn't mostly new bounties/quests playing the same material I've already played dozens of times. And if RNG is as horrible for me as it has always been since day one I won't be staying long.
